Date: 23 June, 2013.
The Editor, [XXXXXX] (E.G. The Telegraph) [XXXXX] (ADDRESS e.g. Dharamtalla), [XXXXXX] ( CITY e.g. Kolkata-700001). Dear Sir, I take the liberty of using your columns to put my views on the system of private coaching as I noticed in the coaching centres of our society. Nowadays private coaching has become a large scale business at individual level and also at organisation level. These are the results of the fall of teaching standards in schools and colleges. The lack of wholehearted devotion on the path of the teachers has led to the degradation of the standard of teaching. This prompts some money minded men to earn a lot by coaching students today privately. This state can only be compared to the nursing homes where some money minded doctors are doing the same business. In such coaching classes too many students are plucked to get there in an unhealthy condition to learn. It is not possible for a student to learn properly under such circumstances. No special care can be given to any week student. Hence, the week remains weak and gain nothing. The ability of good student is also not properly evaluated. Hence there is no improvement on the study path of any student. Therefore I would like to draw attention of so called teachers and organizers to put their best effort as well as attention to make their coaching centres a praiseworthy place where student will benefit. I shall be obliged to you if you kindly draw the attention of the government and involved organisation for welfare of the students and to weed out the perennial bad practices in the field of education. Thank you, Yours faithfully, [xxxxx] |
